Hustle and Flow Chart Health

Earlier this year and prior to the COVID 19 pandemic, Hustle and Flow Chart hosts Matt and Joe interviewed Theo Lucier, a biohacking entrepreneur who shares a wealth of knowledge on everything from brain health and depression to getting better sleep. Listen to this episode his tips to build a healthy immune system, stay energized and focused all day working from home or not.

Fear, stress, and panic can compromise our immune system. A healthy endocannabinoid system helps support the immune system. In fact, the endocannabinoid system regulates our body’s immune system.

What can be most dangerous with many viruses is actually our immune system overacting  With COVID-19, it is primarily our Th1 immune system that is overacting due to the virus being new to humans. It is also known as Cytokine Storm Syndrome.  The fighter cells leave behind mucus and inflammation. That combination can be very dangerous in at-risk populations. [1]

The endocannabinoid system is a modulator in every system of the body, including the immune system. This means it monitors the actions like a symphony conductor;  ensuring everything is at the appropriate levels, not too high or low. [2]

You can support your immune system in many ways beyond feeding your endocannabinoid system; like yoga, meditation, music, reading or walking in nature.

Laughing is always good.

As is a good cry. [3][4]
